The Department of Home Affairs requires you to demonstrate that you have genuine access to these funds — not just that the money exists somewhere. Bank statements are the most common form of evidence, and they need to show the funds have been sitting there for at least 3–6 months.
Sudden large deposits raise red flags. If a family member is sponsoring you, you'll also need to show proof of your relationship and their capacity to support you.
